Every redesign begins with a garment and material assessment. We review construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit goals before discussing what can realistically be achieved.
After the review, we outline the concept, scope, and quote. If the project needs extra materials, those are confirmed separately, and the design only moves forward once approved.
From careful assessment to final fitting, every step is planned around the garment itself.
Alteration Artisan reshapes clothing with a practical process that respects fabric, structure, and the intended result.
Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. We also handle garment redesign consultations for pieces that need a new direction.
Before collection, the finished piece is checked again for fit or finish. If a small adjustment is needed, it is handled carefully without changing the agreed design.
